Disclosed is an image body extracting method, comprising: according to different conditions of whether a to-be-identified area corresponding to a specified characteristic exists in an image to be processed, respectively employing different methods to acquire a body area of the image to be processed, executing a preset algorithm in the image in the body area, and enabling the image corresponding to a foreground area and extracted via the algorithm to serve as the body portion of the image to be processed, thus enabling the extracted body to be accurate and reliable and increasing a processing efficiency on the basis of automatically extracting the image body.
