An arrangement for transmitting and/or receiving a useful ultrasound signal (U) into/in a test medium (M) comprises a vibration isolating element (10, 30, 50, 60, 70) for securing at least one ultrasonic transducer (51, 62, 72) in a receptacle; the vibration isolating element (50, 60, 70) or the ultrasonic transducer (51, 62, 72) emits useful ultrasound signals (U) to a test medium (M) via a coupling surface (E), and the vibration isolating element (50, 60, 70) includes an interface at which the ultrasonic transducer (51, 62, 72) can be connected to the receptacle, in particular a measuring tube or a tank, or to a sensor neck (58) mounted on the receptacle that is partly or entirely filled with test medium (M); in reference conditions and within the frequency range of the useful signal (U), the amplitude of the useful signal (U) transmitted in the test medium (M) is more than 20 dB greater than the amplitude of interference signal transmitted via the interface and via the wall of the receptacle; the disclosed arrangement is characterized in that the structure of the vibration isolating element is rotationally symmetrical or in that the vibration isolating element (50, 70) includes a holder (54, 71) for supporting an ultrasonic transducer (51, 72) as well as a base (56, 73) for securing the vibration isolating element (50, 70) to the sensor neck (58) or the receptacle; an open supporting structure (64, 74) is disposed between the holder (54, 71) and the base (63, 73). |
