Cam mechanism for cocking the firing pin of a weapon, the mechanism being equipped with a spring (13) situated on the external surface of the firing pin (8), with a revolving cam (2) with a drive gear (3) and with a backstop mechanism (19) the release of which initiates movement of the cocked firing pin (8), further being equipped with a shaft (7) passing through the firing pin (8) and leading through notches in the housing (1) of the weapon. One end of this shaft (7) is located in a notch (9) of the cam (2) leading long a helix, wherein ends of this notch (9) are connected by means of a linear notch (10) parallel to the axis of rotation of the cam (2). The movement of the shaft (7), forced by the rotation of the cam (2), at the same time causes the retraction of the firing pin (8) and straining of the spring (13) until the firing pin (8) is blocked in cocked position. The backstop mechanism (19) of the firing pin is part of a releasing and securing mechanism constituted by two levers (19, 23) coupled by means of a toothed gear. |
