An electronic cigarette provided with a smoking extremity (1), an e-liquid cup component (2) used for storing an e-liquid, an atomizing core (3) used for atomizing the e-liquid, and a battery rod (4) used for supplying power to the atomizing core (3). The atomizing core (3) comprises an atomizing sleeve (31). An atomizing cavity (33) is formed in the atomizing sleeve (31). An electric heating wire component (34) is accommodated in the atomizing cavity (33). An electrical connector component electrically connected respectively to the battery rod (4) and to the electric heating wire component (34) is provided at one extremity of the atomizing sleeve (31). The electrical connector comprises, sleeved and connected with each other in an outward sequence, an inner electrode (35), an insulating sleeve (36), and an outer electrode (37). A ventilation hole (361) is provided at one extremity of the insulating sleeve (36) facing the atomizing cavity (33). The ventilation hole (361) is movably covered with a barrier film (362) integrally formed with the insulating sleeve (36) and capable of preventing the e-liquid from entering the battery rod (4) through an electrode ventilation channel, thus preventing an airflow sensor and a battery in the battery rod (4) from being damaged and increasing the service life of the electronic cigarette. |
