The invention relates to a device for controlling the flow of water, of shower or of a sanitary facility for example, to be embedded in a mounting, in particular in a wall, including: a main casing (1) open toward the outside and received in a recess formed in the mounting, the elements for controlling the device being received in the main casing by projecting from same through the opening; an intermediate plate referred to as intermediate surface (3) that is washer-shaped and is attached to the edge of the opening of the main casing, the attachment being achieved, in particular, by screws, particularly by four screws distributed evenly over the circumference of the intermediate surface; and a front surface plate (5) attached to the intermediate surface such as to close the casing, allowing only the elements for controlling the faucet to pass through same, for example, the handle for controlling the mixing valve and the button for adjusting the temperature; and a seal (6), in particular an O-ring seal, providing sealing between the intermediate surface (3) and the front surface (5) extending along the outer edge of the front surface (5) and/or of the intermediate surface (3) by being closer to the outer edge than to the inner edge, the arrangement being such that the attachment of the front surface (5) to the intermediate surface (3) occurs following a movement of the front surface (5) relative to the intermediate surface (3), comprising a component in the direction parallel to the planes of the two surfaces. |
