This testing instrument (10) is configured such that a pipe (12), a cover (13), a filter member (14), and a detector (15) are connected to each other. The respective members each have a hollow shape, and a continuous pipe unit is configured by these members being connected to each other. A plurality of holes are formed in the pipe (12) so as to penetrate from the outer surface to the inner surface. The cover (13) covers these holes and guides a reagent from an inflow port to the holes. A suction tool (11) that is orally held by a patient is detachably attached to the pipe (12). A gaseous mixture of the reagent is supplied from a reagent supply unit (20) to the cover (13). The patient is caused to cough by inhalation of the reagent, and air flow caused by the cough flows through the pipe unit. The intensity of the air flow flowing through the pipe unit is detected by the detector (15), and a detection signal is outputted to a measuring unit (30). |
