Disclosed is a multilayer cable-type secondary battery comprising: a first electrode assembly including one or more first inner electrodes, a first separation layer surrounding the external surface of the first inner electrodes and preventing a short-circuiting of the electrodes, and a first sheet-type external electrode formed to be spirally wound while surrounding the first separation layer; a third separation layer surrounding the first electrode assembly and preventing the short-circuiting of the electrodes; and a second electrode assembly including one or more second inner electrodes surrounding the external surface of the third separation layer, a second separation layer surrounding the external surface of the second inner electrodes and preventing the short-circuiting of the electrodes, and a second sheet-type external electrode formed to be spirally wound while surrounding the second separation layer.
