The invention relates to a cleaning method for cleaning a filter in sections, said filter having several sections. One of the filter sections is cleaned according to a corresponding cleaning process, said filter sections being cleaned during a cleaning cycle in cleaning steps which are at different times and which are spaced apart from each other. Said cleaning method comprises at least two cleaning cycles and the period of time between the cleaning steps during the respective cleaning cycle as well as the period of time between the end of one of the cleaning cycles and the beginning of a subsequent cleaning cycle can be changed, and/or the filter comprises at least three filter sections, said filter sections are cleaned during cleaning processes which are separate at different periods and the periods of time between the successive cleaning processes are respectively modified. The invention also relates to a connection device for connecting a filter to a cleaning device, said connection device comprising a lateral wall which defines an inner cross-section which increases along a longitudinal axis of the connection device and comprises lateral openings with associated main axes. |
