A parking assistance device provided with: a display processing unit mounted in a vehicle (1), the display processing unit displaying on a right-side display captured images obtained by a camera for capturing images of the right-side rear of the vehicle, and displaying on a left-side display (14) captured images obtained by a camera for capturing images of the left-side rear of the vehicle; and a calculation unit for recognizing boundary lines of a parking area (21) and specifying the gaps between the vehicle and the boundary lines to determine left and right off-centering. The display processing unit displays a vehicle off-center image (31) showing the result determined by the calculation unit together with the captured images on both the right-side display and the left-side display. |
