WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD

[Problem] To propose a wireless communication device and a wireless communication method which are able to improve the use efficiency of wireless resources by introducing orthogonal frequency-division multiple access into a wireless LAN system. [Solution] A wireless communication device is provided with: a wireless communication unit which performs wireless communication with another wireless communication device in accordance with the IEEE802.11 standard; and a control unit which controls the wireless communication unit so that schedule information relating to orthogonal frequency-division multiple access is transmitted to the other wireless communication device by being included in a PLCP header defined by the IEEE802.11 standard.
