The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cap tip removal device that can simultaneously remove cap tips from a pair of shanks without requiring a drive source and without relying on human effort. The present invention has a structure wherein: a pair of claw mounting bases (3, 4) whereon a fixed claw (8) and a movable claw (12) are mounted and a slider (5) positioned between these claw mounting bases are disposed on a linear rail (2); the movable claw (12) for a pair of claw mounting bases (3, 4) is provided with an arm part (14) extending on the side of the axle (11) of the movable claw opposite from the movable claw, and a spring (16) for springing this arm part (14) in a direction separating from the claw mounting bases (3, 4); and the tip of the arm part is in contact with the slider (5). The present invention is constituted such that if a shank (50) is pressed into the fixed claw (8) of one claw mounting base (3) by a robot, the movable claws (12) of both claw mounting bases (3, 4) open, and cap tips (60) are removed. |
