The invention belongs to the field of Chinese medicine preparations and in particular relates to a method for detecting the quality of a traditional Chinese medicine composition for treating anemopyretic cold. According to the quality detection method, a TLC method is adopted for qualitatively identifying root of hempleaf Negundo chastetree, evodia lepta, Mussaenda pubescens and mint oil in a prescription, and the TLC method is adopted for qualitatively identifying honeysuckle in the prescription and/or a HPLC method is adopted for detecting the content of chlorogenic acid alternatively. The method has high accuracy, high sensitivity and a wide detection range, and the drug quality can be effectively controlled; and the method can be used as a conventional method for detecting the quality of the pharmaceutical preparations after being proofed by experiments. |
