a beam module that generates a first beamed signal using signals from said first microphone array and a second beamed signal using signals from said second microphone array;a comparison module that compares the first and second beamed signals to determine a similarity value between the first and second beamed signals;a voice interpreting module that identifies commands contained in the first and second beamed signals if the similarity value is above a threshold; andan instrument control module that executes the commands to operate said medical device.
