The present invention relates to a method for controlling the powertrain of a vehicle, which powertrain comprises a first electric drive device for driving of a first drive shaft and a second electric drive device for driving of a second drive shaft of the vehicle, comprising the step of via power electronics providing electricity supply of a first electric motor of the first electric drive device and a second electric motor of the second electric drive device, comprising the step of providing said electricity supply from a common power electronics which supplies said first and second electric motors with electricity, which motors hereby are connected in parallel. The present invention also relates to a system for controlling the powertrain of a vehicle. The present invention also relates to a motor vehicle. The present invention also relates to a computer program and a computer program product.

A method for controlling the powertrain of a vehicle, the powertrain comprising a first electric drive device for driving of a first drive shaft with two first ground engaging members and a second electric drive device for driving of a second drive shaft with two second ground engaging members of the vehicle, the method comprising:
a step of via power electronics providing electricity supply of a first electric motor of the first electric drive device and a second electric motor of the second electric drive device, wherein said electricity supply is provided from a common power electronics which supplies said first and second electric motors with electricity, which are connected in parallel.
