Systems and methods may use proximate communication to retrieve information pertaining to a target device. In one example, the method may include detecting the target device within a vicinity of a user device, receiving an information request response communication including information pertaining to the target device, and receiving an operation request response communication including information pertaining to a performed operation.

1. At least one non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising a set of instructions, which, if executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to:
receive a communication identifying a target device; transmit an information request communication that requests information from the target device; receive an information request response communication in response to the information request communication, the information request response communication providing a technical description pertaining to the target device; and based upon information within the technical description, transmit an operation request communication to perform an operation on the target device.
