Abstract A method of creating a plan of a procedure comprises generating and displaying on a three-dimensional model of a body surface, at least two elements, each of the respective elements comprising one or more control points. The one or more control points have corresponding parameters associated therewith The method also includes associating, with a use of a processor, a first and a second of the at least two elements with each other to form a group; and generating or modifying at least one site within or on the first element, based at least in part on the parameters of at least one of the one or more control points of the second element. The procedure may be e.g. a hair transplantation procedure. Systems for such procedures are also disclosed.
