The screening device(10) is used for a pivot window and comprises a top element (12) and two side rails (13, 14) extending at right angles to the top element(12). Each said side rail is connected to the top element (12) in a hinge connection between the respective side rail and the top element (12) at or near the top element. The hinge connection is provided by a set of hinge parts (30, 50) having mutually cooperating engagement surfaces allowing positive engagement between the hinge parts (30, 50) in a predefined angle interval, and in that the engagement between the mutually cooperating engagement surfaces is releasable outside said predefined angle interval. An opening restricting element limiting the movement of the side rails (13, 14) during opening is provided, the opening restricting element being a stay element (80) connected to the side rail (13, 14) and to a mounting rail (15, 16).15 |
