The method involves amplifying an analog echo signal with respect to predetermined time. The digitization of the analog echo signal is performed by operating an analog-to-digital converter (60) with time constant reference voltage. The output units (62-66) of the analog-to-digital converter are connected with input units (72-76) of a digital logic respectively according to the amplification of the echo signal. A dynamic range of the analog-to-digital converter is set smaller than a dynamic range of the digital logic. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method for detecting vehicle environment by echo signal; (2) a device for amplifying echo signal for vehicle environment detection; and (3) a vehicle assistance system for vehicle environment detection. |
