The present invention relates to an erosion control barrier consisting of at least one linear erosion control element created in the endangered region and being selected from a group consisting of a broad base terrace (11) or a main contour furrow (12), an intercepting ditch (9), main ditch (10), dike or combinations thereof. At least one main bag (2) of cylindrical shape filled with a filling mixture (3) is arranged along the edge of the dug intercepting ditch (9) and/or the main ditch (10) or the broad base terrace (11) and/or the main contour furrow (12), wherein the bag is put in a terrain cut (X) and covered by a geotextile (7), soil fill (8) and grass creating thus a protective erosion control dike. The marginal main bag (2) is longitudinally supported by at least one supporting hose bag (6). The gap extending between the bags (2) and (6) is then filled up with the filling mixture (3). |
