Insert for thermoplastic support and method for assembling the insert with the support

The insert has a head (2) arranged at an end of a cylindrical barrel (1). A projecting element (3) is projected from an external surface of the barrel and arranged between the head and the end. The element comprises a notch (5) defining two teeth (6a, 6b), and a spacer (7) connecting the teeth with each other. Free ends of the teeth are directed towards the barrel end. The spacer is arranged proximal to the head with interposition of a free space (8) formed between the spacer and the head. The spacer has an inclined face (12) inclined toward the barrel in the direction of the barrel end. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling an insert in a thermoplastic support.
