The invention relates to an apparatus for echographic exploration, operating with intensities and frequencies in the clinical ultrasound physiotherapy range. The apparatus is multi-channel and comprises an ultrasonic transducer which uses piezocomposites as piezoelectric elements. The invention also relates to a production method and to the use of the echographic images produced by the apparatus for defining the acoustic and energy parameters of the physiotherapy stage, detecting changes in temperature and structure in the area of interest, and directing by focusing the therapeutic dose towards said area.
