The method involves spraying an atomized spray (12) into a cooking chamber (2) during operation of a microwave cooking device (1), and adjusting a spraying parameter depending on an operating parameter. The operating parameter is selected from a group consisting of cooking process, process duration, cooking chamber temperature, process type, microwave power, food characteristics and/or dinnerware type. The spraying parameter is selected from a group consisting of discharging type, droplet size, spraying interval and intensity, spraying pressure and/or spraying medium type and temperature. An independent claim is also included for a microwave cooking device comprising a spraying device for spraying atomized spray into a cooking chamber. |
