The process comprises introducing iron particles in a metal container (46) present in a tank equipped with an electrode (47), introducing an aqueous solution containing sodium hypochlorite (6.5 g/l) and sodium chloride (15 g/l) in the tank so as to cover the iron particles and to make contact with the electrode, continuously supplying current to the metal container and the electrode, and extracting an electrolysis product from the tank. The metallic container containing the iron particles acts as anode and the electrode acts as cathode. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process for pre-treatment of raw water; and (2) an installation for the pre-treatment of raw water. |
