An apparatus for detecting x-rays comprises: a detecting unit including a pixel array on which a plurality of pixels detecting X-rays passing through an object to be tested are arranged in a matrix; a read-out unit reading out electrical signals corresponding to the detected X-rays from the pixel array; and a reset control unit controlling the pixel array to be reset after the detection of the X-rays by switching the pixels of the pixel array to be commonly connected to a reset power source. Thus, an offset phenomenon in which a difference between reset voltages of pixels connected to different lines occurs after the pixel array is reset may be prevented.
