Device for connecting an external water feed line (7, 8) to an internal water feed (11, 12) of a washing machine or tumble dryer comprises a housing (2, 15) containing one end of the water feed line and a safety valve (5, 6) arranged in the housing for stopping and releasing the internal water feed line. The housing has an opening for releasing leakage water. Preferred Features: The device has a first chamber (3), in which is arranged the end of the external water feed line, and a second chamber (4), in which is arranged the safety valve. The chambers are separated by a separating wall (10a) in which is arranged a connecting opening (10). |
