Provided are a gas adsorbent material which can avoid degradation of gas adsorption performance while reducing generated amount of flammable gas. The gas adsorbent material comprises: a metal which is an adsorption component of the targeted gas and is deactivated by water content; and an additional material for the metal, wherein the metal is attached to the surface of the additional material.
