The present invention provides a method and a device for forming a solution film, by which undulance deformation of a belt is controlled for a long time, so tendon deformation of a film is controlled for a long time. To solve such a problem, a circular shaped belt (21) disposed on a flexible unit (15) of a solution film forming device (10) is wound and hung on a roller (22) and is continuously driven in a longitudinal direction. The belt (21) is made of austenite-based stainless steel, and contains Ni, Cr, Mo, and Cu. A content of Cu is within 0.04 mass% or more and 1.00 mass% or less. A dope (11) is continuously withdrawn over the belt (21) from a flexible die (24), so a flexible film (26) is produced. The flexible film (26) is peeled and separated from the belt (21), so a film (12) is produced. Then, the film (12) is dried. |
