The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for sensing inter cell interference in a mobile communication system. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method of performing communications in a base station comprises the steps of: receiving a signal including a reference signal (RS) from a terminal; generating at least one interference candidate RS; calculating a cross correlation value between the at least one interference candidate RS and the received RS; estimating at least one from the size of an interference resource block (RB), the offset of the interference RB that acts as interference, a group index (u), and a cyclic shift (CS) by using the predetermined number of interference candidate RSs in a descending order of correlation value thereof; and removing or directly attenuating an interference signal by using the at least one among the estimated RB size, RB offset, timing offset, and u. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an LET uplink system may sense the size of RB, a starting point, and DM-RS sequence information for interference of a neighboring cell without help of the base station and the neighboring cell. |
