An energy regeneration device (11) for construction machines, provided in a construction machine (15) and comprising a movable weight (16) movable in the vertical direction and a hydraulic circuit for force transmission. The hydraulic circuit for force transmission: causes the movable weight (16) to move upwards by using energy from when a boom (12), an arm, or a bucket moves in the direction of gravity or by using energy from when a rotating body (13) or a traveling body (14) brakes; and uses the potential energy of this movable weight as energy for driving the boom (12) or the arm.
