Disclosed are an automatic airplane baggage processing system capable of completely automating examination and monitoring of airplane passengers who consign baggage without manual processing and a method thereof. The automatic airplane baggage processing system includes: a passenger authentication device which is prepared at the entrance of an area where an automatic airplane baggage processing device is installed and receives information about an airplane passenger who attempts to use the automatic airplane baggage processing device; and an automatic airplane baggage processing server which receives and verifies the information about the airplane passenger from the passenger authentication device and determines whether to allow the airplane to enter the area where the automatic airplane baggage processing device is installed.
