The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing content and, more specifically, to a system and a method for providing customized content according to a situation of a customer, which provides optimum content in the current state of a customer, such as the current situation, a tendency, and a character of the customer. The system for providing customized content includes: a storage unit which stores content type information and customer state information; and a control unit which provides content provided by the customer after generating a content list and providing the same to the customer.
