A fork robot may include: a fork to support a cassette so as to load the cassette on a shelf or unload the cassette from the shelf; an encoder motor to insert the fort toward the shelf, or discharge the fork from the shelf; and a sensor which is mounted at an end of the fork, and senses an alignment pin of the shelf. Therefore, the fork robot can measure an insertion distance of the fork automatically using the encoder motor and the sensor by referring to the alignment pin of the shelf. |
