The present invention relates to a new type radiation sheltering device capable of sheltering radioactivity more completely and being conveniently installed and used by automatically covering (closing) the entire circumference of a pipe with a link-type jacket when being seated in the pipe to be inspected in the case of a pipe nondestructive inspection performed to inspect a joint (welded parts and the like) of inner structures of the pipe (gas pie, oil pipeline, water pipe, and other pipes) and automatically widening (opening) a gap between both sides when lifting the pipe after the completion of the pipe nondestructive inspection. Namely, the present invention, in the radiation sheltering device for the pipe nondestructive inspection, is composed of a semi-circular sheltering unit (10) for covering the top of the pipe to efficiently sheltering radiation emitted to the top of the pipe by covering the cylindrical pipe; and the link-type jacket (20) composed of bending motion control units (20-2) capable of freely rotating in the left and right sides around the centers of each hinge pin (30) by being joined to both lower parts of the sheltering unit (10) for covering the top of the pipe with the hinge pins (30), enabling a bending motion to start when coming into contact with a top surface of the pipe, and formed in the upper parts of the hinge units and lower covering units (20-1) capable of covering the lateral surface and the bottom surface of the pipe and formed in the lower parts of the hinge units. |
