Embodiments of the present invention relate to a display device and a timing controller. The display device improves the sensing accuracy of a unique characteristic value of a circuit device within a sub pixel to accurately implement a brightness deviation compensation, which improves picture quality. To this end, the display device includes: a display panel in which multiple sub pixels are arranged in the form of a matrix; a sensor connected to a sensing node within the sub pixel included in at least one sub pixel line, and sensing a saturated voltage of the sensing node in a sensing time section corresponding to a sensing time length varying in accordance with a driving time length and transmitting sensing data; and a compensator calculating a data compensation amount for each of the sub pixels based on the sensing data received from the sensor.
