Disclosed are a message service method and apparatus. The service method comprises the following steps: the message service apparatus that has received a message transmission request signal for requesting a message to be transmitted to a terminal device combines a channel ID, through which the message transmission request signal has received, with an origination number, termination number, or call-back number included in the message transmission request signal and transmits an encrypted service authentication request signal to an authentication apparatus; the authentication apparatus compares the origination number, termination number, or call-back number, and the channel ID with a preregistered white list after the authentication apparatus decrypts the service authentication request signal, transmits a service authentication request reply signal, in which authentication result information depending on a result of the comparison is included, and a message service apparatus receives the service authentication request reply signal; and the message service apparatus transmits a message to the terminal if the message service apparatus passes authentication based on the authentication result information. Since a channel ID used for authentication communications is allocated for an incoming call to a specific circuit by an SMS/MMS provider, the channel ID cannot be manipulated by a message sender or the like. Furthermore, since the channel ID can be more secure by encryption, it is possible to resolve the concern that an improper message is transmitted to a terminal device through alteration of a call-back number or the like. |
