The present invention relates to a self-generation type emergency exit display lamp for a ship. A generation unit includes: a permanent magnet which moves to left and right due to swinging movement of the ship caused by waves; and a coil which generates an induced electromotive force in accordance with the movement of the permanent magnet in left and right directions. A display unit of a case receives the induced electromotive force from a battery, which is charged with the induced electromotive force generated by the generation unit, to emit light, thereby displaying a direction toward an emergency exit of the ship. Accordingly, the display unit does not need to receive power from a separate power supply unit on the outside of the case nor be connected to the separate power supply unit through wires inconveniently. In addition, the self-generation type emergency exit display lamp enables passengers to use wires unwound from a rotary shaft to safely escape passenger cabins in case of an accident occurring due to tilting and sinking of the ship.
