A pigmented face powder composition containing less than 5% by weight of water, free of talc, fragrance, mineral oil and parabens, wherein the particulate phase comprises iron oxide pigments, silica, titanium dioxide, mica; and a non-synthetic mixture of natural edible grains consisting of oat flour, soybean flour, tapioca starch and rice starch with particle sizes of the mixture of edible grains ranging from 1 to 50 microns in diameter.
