The present invention relates to a secondary battery can including an inner notch, comprising: a can side surface part accommodating an electrode assembly inside and having both sides opened; and a can bottom part including an inner notch in the shape of a depressed groove, which is formed along a virtual straight line or curve, on an upper surface to fracture and exhaust gas when gas pressure inside the can side surface part increases, and bonded to the end part of the can side surface part to finish the interior of the can side surface part. According to the secondary battery can including an inner notch according to an embodiment of the present invention, an electrolyte inserted into the secondary battery can does not leak and the bottom of the secondary battery can fractures at set pressure, so gas generated inside the secondary battery can be discharged to the outside. |
