The present invention relates to a scrap collection unit and scrap tension control method for an electrode notching apparatus. The scrap collection unit for an electrode notching apparatus is provided below a laser cutting part adapted to notch an electrode and collects a scrap, and comprises: a scrap duct which collects and discharges the scrap; a fixed roll which is provided below the laser cutting part, and guides the scrap to the scrap duct; a driven roll which is provided above the scrap duct, and is rotated in one direction, thereby drawing the scrap to the scrap duct; and a dancer roll which is provided between the driven roll and the fixed roll and adjusts tension of the scrap while swinging due to its own weight of the scrap. According to the present invention, it is possible to uniformly adjust the tension of the scrap by using the dancer roll which is rotated by its own weight while drawing the scrap at a speed identical to a linear speed of an electrode by using the driven roll. |
