Disclosed are a digital device and a method of processing content in the digital device. The method of processing content in a digital device comprises the steps of: outputting a live broadcast; receiving a first request from a user; outputting a screen of executing a first application on a screen of the live broadcast in response to the first request; receiving a second request from the user; outputting a screen of executing a second application from the screen of executing the first application on the screen of the live broadcast in response to the second request; receiving a third request from the user; switching to and outputting a streaming service for content selected in response to the third request, wherein the first application is executed and finished by the second request. According to the present invention, while a user watches content, one or more applications related to the content may be executed on a foreground without switching a screen, so as to support multi-tasking. |
