DISPLAY PANEL AND DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

A display panel comprises: a first substrate including a thin film transistor; a pixel electrode electrically connected to the thin film transistor; a common electrode facing the pixel electrode; an organic light emitting layer interposed between the pixel electrode and the common electrode to emit light; a second substrate facing the first substrate; a light control electrode arranged on one surface of the second substrate; and a filling layer filling a space between the light control electrode and the common electrode, and whose refractive index is changed based on a potential difference between the light control electrode and the common electrode. Therefore, the display panel can variably control a refractive index of light.
