The present invention provides a transmission perception apparatus comprising: a transmission, a vehicle transmission controller performing shifting of the transmission; an electronic transmission operator generating gear information by checking the state of a current gear and generating shifting by a driver as the gear information; an electronic braille module outputting the gear as braille information. According to the present invention, when a hearing impaired driver, a blind driver or the like performs a transmission shift while driving a vehicle, perception regarding the transmission can be improved.
