The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing a travel schedule. The system comprises: a web server; a travel schedule service server which repeats the following steps of extracting an area from a given word input by a user terminal which has accessed a web page provided by the web server, providing candidate tourist destinations together with routes on a map on a screen of the user terminal in a sequence of the candidate tourist destinations closer to the area, and providing new candidate tourist destinations together with routes on the map on the screen of the user terminal in a sequence of the new candidate tourist destinations closer to a selected tourist destination, which corresponds a candidate tourist destination selected by the user terminal from the candidate tourist destinations, and which therefore displays selected tourist destinations together with the routs on the map on the screen of the user terminal and displays information on the selected tourist destinations; and a database part which stores information of members registered via the web page provided by the web server, location information on the area related to the given word, locational and relevant information on the candidate tourist destinations, map information, and locational and relevant information on the selected tourist destinations, and which provides the stored information to the web server and the travel schedule service server. According to the present invention, the system and method allows a user to intuitively understand a travel route which is important for a travel, and to selectively and sequentially plan the travel route, thereby facilitating effective travel scheduling. |
