摘要 The present invention relates to a 2-dimensional magneto-optical trap generating device. The device comprises: a high vacuum chamber which forms a high vacuum state therein; a reflective member which includes reflective surfaces which are arranged to be inclined with respect to each other, and is arranged in the high vacuum chamber; an atom source which is arranged inside the high vacuum chamber; a cooling laser which illuminates a laser beam toward the respective reflective surfaces to cool down atoms in four directions; a magnetic coil which generates an area where a magnitude of a magnetic field is zero in a linear shape at an inner center of the high vacuum chamber; and an optical axis aligning unit which includes a penetrating portion, through which an atomic beam penetrates, at one side of the reflective member and aligns optical axes of atomic beams with each other. According to the present invention, the number of lasers can be reduced and an atomic beam having a low terminal speed and a narrow speed distribution component can be generated.
