The present invention relates to a device for detecting location information of a target. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the device for detecting location information of a target includes: a control unit which sets the number of time slots to transmit a signal, sets a different center frequency for each time slot, and sets the bandwidth of a signal transmitted to each time slot; a transmission unit which transmits the set signal for each time slot using a transmission antenna; a receiving unit which receives the signal reflected from a target for each of the time slots using a plurality of receiving antennas; and a signal processing unit which extracts the location information of the target using the received signal. As described above, according to the present invention, using the device for detecting the location information of a target, the number of receiving antennas can be reduced since a receiving antenna can receive a signal by dividing the signal into multiple time slots. Also, the observation view is secured using one transmission antenna, which used to be a plurality of transmission antennas, so the number of transmission antennas used in a radar system can be reduced. |
