The present invention relates to a knob assembly which does not need an additional wiring and is resistant to an external environment, and a controller for a vehicle including the same. The knob assembly comprises: a head unit; a cylindrical protrusion unit protruded from one surface of the head unit, and rotating by interworking with the head unit; a plurality of frictional protrusions arranged along an outer circumferential surface of the protrusion unit, and generating a frictional sound by sequentially frictionizing to an external protrusion according to a rotation of the head unit; and a fixing member coupled to the protrusion unit in the opposite direction of the head unit. The plurality of frictional protrusions can be formed with an edge shape to generate the frictional sounds of different patterns according to a rotation direction of the head unit.
