摘要 The present invention provides a display device. The display device includes: a substrate which includes a plurality of pixel areas; a thin film transistor which is formed on the substrate; a first insulation layer which is formed on the thin film transistor; a pixel electrode which is connected to the thin film transistor and is formed on the first insulation layer; a liquid crystal layer which fills a fine space formed on the pixel electrode; a common electrode which is formed at a distance from the pixel electrode by the fine space; a roof layer which is formed on the common electrode; an injection hole which is formed in the common electrode and the roof layer to expose part of the fine space; a third insulation layer which is formed on the top of the roof layer; and a cover film which closes the fine space by covering the injection hole and is formed on the third insulation layer. On the top surface of the third insulation layer, a convex embossing pattern is formed. According to the present invention, by forming an insulation layer in various shapes of patterns, the display device can increase the critical angle of light passing through a plurality of layers with different refractive indexes and has improved optical efficiency.
