An automatic multilane toll collecting system according to an aspect of the present invention, which can collect a toll via communications using a WAVE method, comprises: multiple lane-distinguishing antennas matching lanes one-to-one to transmit a communication initialization request (RST) including the lane identifier of a corresponding lane to a terminal of a vehicle; a toll-collecting antenna for receiving a communication initialization response (VST) including the lane identifier from the terminal; and a controller for extracting the lane identifier from the communication initialization response received by the toll-collecting antenna and determining a lane passed by each vehicle using the extracted lane identifier.
