The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a control method thereof. According to the present invention, the mobile terminal displays a preview screen in a display unit by driving a camera, and can control the camera to automatically adjust a focus on a first subject corresponding to a first area receiving a hovering input when the hovering input accessing a set distance range is received in a surface of the display unit. According to the present invention, by automatically control the focus when receiving the hovering input, a time delay due to the focus adjustment can be reduced. |
