A clothes peg comprises two members, 1, 2 rotatable in relation to each other about a pin 3, one member having a projection 8 against which the clothes line is forced by the end 7 of the other member, while the clothes are gripped between the other ends of the members, the member 2 being resiliently mounted on the pin 3, for example, by means of a rubber washer 5 between the member and the head 4 of the pin. A groove 9 may be provided in the member 1 to receive a hem of the clothes. |
